River Falls City Hall is closed today (Monday, Sept. 7) in observance of the Labor Day holiday. It will reopen again on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The Library will be CLOSED Labor Day weekend through Monday, September 7. We'll open again on Tuesday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. Free WiFi is available around the perimeter of the building. If you still have Adult BINGO sheets to return for raffle tickets, you may stop in on Tuesday the 8th before close at 8pm.

HEADS UP: Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, our River Falls Municipal Utilities water department will be draining the mound reservoir to perform a structural inspection. This work will continue through Friday, Sept. 11. Some residents may notice low water pressure or a temporary discoloration in their water while this work is being done. The discoloration is harmless and does not affect the safety of water consumption. Please run cold water from your faucets inside your home until the water is clear (run the tap closest to your water meter).

The impacted areas are indicated in light blue on the map attached in the comments.

While the Glen Park Pool is now closed for the season, the splash pad will remain open until mid-September, weather permitting. As a reminder, the splash pad is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Reminder: The City of River Falls' residential parking permit system takes effect tomorrow (Sept. 1) and runs through May 31 for most residential zones. Permits can either be obtained online (https://bit.ly/4iudRNW) or in person at City Hall.

The parking permits are free to residents.
