This Memorial Day, I ask Team March to take a moment to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in defense of our nation. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy today and a reminder of the true meaning of service.

We honor not only our fallen heroes, but also the families, friends, and loved ones who carry their memory forward every day. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As Airmen, Reservists, civilians, family members, and community partners, we continue their legacy through our commitment to serve with integrity, excellence, and purpose.

From my family to yours, thank you for taking time to honor America’s fallen this Memorial Day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers of Team March and beyond.

Today, I want to personally thank the mothers who entrusted the care of their sons and daughters to the United States Air Force. Your sacrifice, strength, and support make our mission possible. Behind every Airman is a family that serves alongside them, and we never forget that.

To the mothers currently serving in uniform—thank you for showing the world what resilience, leadership, and love look like every single day. Balancing service to country and devotion to family is no easy task, yet you continue to answer both callings with strength and grace.

And to every mother—whether at home, in uniform, supporting from afar, or leading by example—you are everyday heroes. Your impact reaches farther than you know, and your care helps shape the next generation of leaders, warriors, and citizens.

Thank you for everything you do for your families, your communities, and our nation.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I’m honored to join the 452d Air Mobility Wing—where Airmen are the backbone of global mobility and mission success. What we do here matters, and it matters everywhere. This isn’t hype—it’s fact. We are unmatched, and we set the standard.

Whether you’re on the flightline, in the air, supporting medical readiness, securing the base, or keeping operations moving—you are essential to winning the fight. This wing doesn’t just talk mission…we execute.

Our strength comes from each other. We push standards, take care of our teammates, and build a culture rooted in trust, pride, and connection. That’s how we stay lethal—and that’s how we win.

We also stand behind our deployed Airmen and the families who support them. They are part of this mission, and taking care of them is non-negotiable.

As warfare evolves, we must be ready—decisive, disciplined, and unwilling to accept “average.” My promise is to listen, to push you, and to build a culture where every Airman is empowered to lead and act.

You’ll hear me say this often:
HUSTLE. GRIND. EXECUTE. RESET.

Let’s build on this legacy, take care of our people, and keep raising the bar.

Let’s get after it.
Be badass every day.

As I pass the mantle of Command Chief for the 452nd Air Mobility Wing to CMSgt Brenda Tallant, I do so with deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve alongside such an exceptional team.

To all of Team March and those serving at March Air Reserve Base—thank you. Your professionalism, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the mission are what make this installation truly outstanding.

A special thank you to the 452nd Wing Staff, as well as our community partners and supporters. Your trust, engagement, and steadfast support throughout my tenure mean more than I can fully express.

It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as your Command Chief, and I am incredibly grateful to conclude my military career at such a remarkable wing.

While I step away from military service, I will continue to serve in a civilian capacity—remaining connected to the mission and the people who make it so impactful.

I will miss serving alongside each of you, but I depart confident the wing is in excellent hands with Chief Tallant and that the mission -DEFEND, MOBILIZE, FIGHT will continue to thrive.

Stay ready, stay connected, and take care of one another!

Dr. King taught us that leadership is not about authority — it is about responsibility. He reminded us that “the time is always right to do what is right,” even when it is uncomfortable, even when it requires moral courage.

As Chiefs, we are entrusted with more than managing people — we are entrusted with shaping culture. Every decision we make, every standard we enforce, and every Airman we develop either strengthens or weakens the foundation of our force.

Dr. King believed that everyone can be great because everyone can serve. That message resonates deeply within our profession of arms. We lead by serving — by creating environments where every Airman is valued, heard, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Today is not only a day of remembrance — it is a call to action.

A call to lead with integrity.
A call to build trust.
A call to ensure our units reflect the very best of who we are as Airmen and as Americans.

We honor Dr. King best not with words alone, but by living his principles — in how we lead, how we mentor, and how we care for our people.

I had the opportunity to stop by a community holiday event at March Air Reserve Base hosted in partnership with our Military and Family Readiness team, and it truly reminded me what makes this place special. Seeing our Air Force, Army, and Navy service members receive a little extra care and holiday cheer was incredibly meaningful.

I’m grateful to our Military and Family Readiness professionals and to Iseko, the local high school student whose initiative helped make this event happen. It was inspiring to see how one person’s idea, supported by the right partners, can make such a positive impact across our base.

To our service members and families—thank you for all that you do, not just during the holidays, but all year long. Wishing everyone at March a very Merry Christmas and a safe, joyful holiday season. 🎄✨

Today at March Air Reserve Base, we paused to honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Standing beside our firefighters, Airmen, and community, I was reminded that remembrance is not just about the past—it’s about carrying forward the unity, courage, and resilience that define us as Americans. We will never forget.
