Thanks to the SFFMA Wellness & Health Grant, and with the help of Matthew Aaron Ledbetter and Dinges Fire Company, our department now has a gear extractor to properly wash and decontaminate our turnout gear.

This isn’t just a washer. It’s cancer prevention. It’s cleaner gear. It’s protecting the firefighters who protect this community and, the families who wait for them to come home.
