It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Audet Price. Audet was a founding member of Rainbow Seniors ROC. He worked with LGBTQ Seniors for 14 years, he had a heart of gold and was a proud Veteran. Volunteering was his passion, there were so many good things about Audet. Our condolences to John, Audet's family and all who loved him.

Dropped off donations from our generous seniors to Dimitri House. It is a time of great need for low income families and the unhoused. Laurie A Prizel thanked us for supporting them again.

Many of you knew Peg. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes making homemade cards that were sent out to our seniors. She was a real sweetheart. Kind, compassionate and a great organizer for social justice. Our condolences to Peg's family and those who loved her. May she rest in peace.

It's Spring! As always there is a lot happening for Rainbow Seniors ROC. Next weekend (May 1 - 3) is the G.R.E.A.T. Bowling fundraiser for RSROC, we have a Healthy Lunch on Monday, May 11 and Monroe County is providing free tickets to Seniors for the Red Wings game and lunch on May 27th - sign up at the center, limited to 22 people. Enjoy the sunshine!

April showers won't dampen our spirit! Special features this month include the Rainbow Seniors ROC Annual Business Meeting on Saturday April 18, 1-3pm, a food drive for Dmitri House and information about new monthly plant-based Health Quest Lunches. Check it out!

April is here. The RSROC Annual Meeting will happen on April 18 and there is lots of interesting programming this month. Please save the dates of May 1 - 3 and volunteer for the GREAT Bowling tournament, a fundraiser that benefits Rainbow Seniors. ALSO NOTE: the new time for lunch is at 12:30 with the front doors open at Noon! See you there.
