What a wonderful time on Saturday celebrating the history of the Borscht Belt in Glen Wild and Rock Hill. Now, the community can continue to honor and be reminded of this rich history and how it shaped our area.

Thank you to the Borscht Belt Historical Marker Project for making our town the 18th marker dedication location and for organizing the event, Pizza the Rock for hosting and allowing the marker on their property, the Town of Thompson for installing and to County Historian John Conway and Naomi Jaffe for sharing their knowledge of the history of the borscht belt in Rock Hill and Glen Wild.

When you get a chance, stop by and check it out and grab a slice of pizza while you are at it 🍕 😉
