Today at IDES, we had the honor of welcoming back some very special visitors – our former students who are now graduating high school seniors! 🎓💙❤️

As they walked the halls, one more time during their Graduate Walk, our students and staff cheered them on with pride and excitement for all they have accomplished. It was such a meaningful reminder that once you are part of the IDES family, you will always have a home here.

We are so proud of these seniors and cannot wait to see the amazing things that they will do next. Congratulations, Class of 2026!🎉

Last Kona Ice day of the year is tomorrow!

Hello! Kona Ice is coming to school on Thursday, May 21st.

Your child will be coming home with a small square piece of paper. Write your child's name on the paper, circle the size they are getting, and attach the money so they will be able to get their Kona Ice on Thursday, May 21st. If you would like to pay online. You can use the link or QR code instead of sending in cash. This link will be live until 7:30 AM on Thursday, May 21st. When you use the link to purchase make sure you find the teacher in the drop-down menu and type your child's name. If you use the link to purchase, you do not need to send anything in with your child. Kona Ice is giving back 20% of the sales to our 5th grade trip fund, so let's support them!

These awesome Patriots received recognition as teacher leaders in the district! All of them have welcomed Winthrop University students into their classrooms to intern, and many of them join our Rock Hill Schools and Independence Family. Thank you, teachers, for leading the way!
