Friendly Reminder: Middle School Soccer Tryouts

Middle school co-ed soccer tryouts are tomorrow after school for students in grades 6–8.

Parents and guardians, please arrange for students to be picked up immediately following tryouts, as the after-school program is not yet operating.

Student-athletes should arrive dressed appropriately and fully prepared to participate. Remember, this is a tryout, so give your best effort, stay positive, and support one another.

Conklin Academy Families,

We are transitioning to a more convenient athletics platform using the Snap! Manage app. Families will now be able to register student-athletes, complete required forms, and access sports schedules in one location.

Registration is now open for the upcoming middle school winter sports seasons:

Girls Basketball: September 14–December 17, 2026
Boys Basketball: October 19, 2026–February 11, 2027
Cheer: August 10, 2026–February 10, 2027
Girls Volleyball: December 7, 2026–March 20, 2027
Swimming: November 30, 2026–February 6, 2027
Wrestling: November 30,2026-March 13,2027

As a developing athletics program, Conklin Academy may continue partnering with Marshall and West for certain sports, including swimming and potentially volleyball, depending on student participation. Early registration will help us determine whether we have enough student-athletes to support individual Conklin teams.

Please take a few moments to create a family profile and register your middle school student-athlete through the Snap! Manage app. Early registration is strongly encouraged.

Just a friendly reminder! 🏈

If you are interested in playing football for grades 6–8, practice will be held today from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at West Middle School.

📍 Meeting Location: Please meet by the football fields on the bus drop-off side of the school.

Coach King and the coaching staff will be there to get student-athletes fitted for pads and provide information regarding the practice schedule.

Conklin Academy celebrated the completion of its $20 million expansion. The addition for 6-8 grades has new classrooms, gym, cafeteria, library, arts spaces and much more. Conklin families will be able to see it for themselves at the school's open house tonight!
