Walk into Rockland's shoe history in the Rockland Memorial Library Rotunda during November. Successful shoemaker and namesake of The Wright Building, Elwyn Temple Wright, is the featured exhibition presented by Rockland Historical Commission in collaboration with Friends of Rockland Memorial Library in celebration of Rockland's 150th Anniversary.

Please stop by the Rotunda at the Rockland Memorial Library to see this exhibit. Pamela Ryan, Chair of the Rockland Historical Commission has created an outstanding presentation of the history of the E.T. Wright Building, the Wright family, and the employees of yesteryear. Everyone at The Wright Building is extremely thankful to Pamela for all her work.

We're ecstatic to launch an Open Air Studio at Rockland Fall Festival on October 5th from 1-5 PM! You'll see Uptowns Finest Barbershop parking lot transform into a creative space dedicated to the arts which will include music, artists, creative demonstrations, a gallery, activities such as a Lego Blocks Bash, Pieces of Rockland puzzle designing, and more. We invite vendors, arts and craft facilitators, artwork to display, and demonstrators to fill the Open Air Studio. We hope you join us!
