Happy Father’s Day from Delta Lake State Park! 🌲☀️

Today we’re celebrating all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who taught us how to cast a fishing line, start a campfire, skip rocks, and appreciate the great outdoors.

From spending the day fishing, enjoying a picnic, taking a walk along the lake, out on the boat, or just relaxing together, we hope you make some great memories at Delta Lake State Park.

UPDATE: Session 2 for tuesdays and thursdays is FULL

We are opening signups for Learn to Swim at Delta Lake.

Registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis until the session is full. Each session will be split into groups (max. of 10) based on age, skill level, and comfort level. Sessions will consist of classes for 45 minutes (Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday). Weather or water quality may cause class to cancel. We encourage you to call the park office at: (315) 337 - 4670 for information on a questionable day.

The beach is OPEN

We got results back today (6/18/26) and the algal bloom has cleared...for now.

We will have the beach open until 7pm tonight and it will be open everyday 11am - 7pm unless advised otherwise.

Did you know Delta Lake has park rangers on staff?🌲

Our rangers are here to help with everything from directions and park information to lost items, emergencies, and visitor assistance. They’re also out patrolling the park and helping keep Delta Lake safe and enjoyable for everyone.

If you see one of our rangers during your visit, don’t hesitate to say hello or ask a question, they’re always happy to help!

☀️ Looking for a great way to kick off your weekend?

Today, Friday June 12, is shaping up to be a warm day at Delta Lake State Park, with temperatures expected to reach the mid-80s! 🌊🏖️

With the heat, the beach WILL be open a day early and admission to the park and swimming area is FREE, with swim hours being 11-7 on Friday!(Weather permitting) The concession stand is not open today, but will be tomorrow June 13th.

Beginning Saturday, June 13, regular day-use fees will be in effect and will continue throughout the summer season. ☀️

Come visit Delta Lake State Park for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life tomorrow Saturday 6/6/26!

Relay For Life is a community event that brings people together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s mission of improving the lives of people affected by cancer.

Throughout the event, participants will walk, share stories, honor those impacted by cancer, and support the ongoing fight for a world without cancer.

We are proud to have the ACS choose delta lake for this meaningful event and encourage our community to come out and show their support. Together, we can make a difference.

🏖️ 🍔 The Delta Lake State Park Concession Stand and beach is OPEN on weekends 11am-7pm, including today!

The concession stand and beach will be open only on weekends through June 13, 2026. After that, we’ll transition to our regular summer operating schedule.

It is a 7$ entrance fee ONLY on weekends now - June 13th when the beach fully opens.

Stop by for snacks, drinks, ice cream, and more while enjoying your time at the park.
