Roswell, I have been asked so I will answer the call. It will be an extreme HONOR to SERVE the People/ Citizens of Roswell.
This Campaign and Administration will be focused on bringing everyone together as best as We can.
This Campaign and Administration will have a FOCUS on SUPPORTING Our Police and Fire Departments and ALL of the City of Roswells Employees ! “ it is a lot cheaper to take care of the Cities Employees that We already have than to have to recruit, hire and train new People and also it”s the WRIGHT thing to do as well “. Example - It’s a average of $100,000 to recruit, train, supply and everything else that goes into having a Police Officer on the streets there first day alone on the streets so why not just take care of the ones We have then continually having to rehire and rehire new Police Officers ? This will STOP ! We as a City have done this process 66 times and lost 66 Police Officers in just the recent Years. Very sad in My opinion.
This Campaign and Administration will be focused on the FUTURE. Up to and including EVERYTHING in Our Power to bring new jobs to Roswell .
While at the same time honoring and working with Companies and Businesses that are already here.
This Campaign and Administration
will work hard with local people / businesses / organizations to help do what We can to keep moving forward with the AFFORDABLE housing options.
This Campaign and Administration will work to restore some of Our Park Programs ( specifically Our Our Zoo Programs ) and will WORK to get activities like “ Hike it and Spike it “ BACK IN ROSWELL ! Plus many more for the Community especially the Youth of Roswell.
This Campaign and Administration will work TOGETHER with who we can and do whatever We need to, to be able to make a major dent in our crime statistics ( it is a COMPLETE shame that crime is were it is).
This Campaign and Administration will look high and low to HELP all children to have more to do and an actual reason to be proud and to STAY in their home town.
This Campaign and Administration will do EVERYTHING that it can wiithin its power to do so as Mayor to insure a BETTER FUTURE for ROSWEL and to RESPECT and LISTEN to ALL ( not just some ).
This Campaign and Administration WILL be as transparent as can be and We WILL reach out to the citizens with more in person town halls, be more inclusive and again simply LISTEN and do Our best to be of service to all.
There are obviously more things that We will discuss via posts and public forums but for now I am GREAT FULL for the support as I do the same and support You back !
