Congratulations Alderman Talbott!!!

Thank you, Rutland.

I’m really grateful to have been elected to another term on the Board of Aldermen, and to finish tonight as the top vote-getter means a great deal to me.

Over the past six years I’ve tried to be clear with voters about what I believe our city needs, and then put in the work to help make those things happen. Rutland is a special place, and it is a privilege to serve this community.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote, have a conversation, share encouragement, or support the campaign along the way. I’m very grateful. And when I’ve recovered a bit, I’ll be reaching out to personally thank everyone that helped me along the way.

Rutland has built real momentum over the past few years. I’m looking forward to continuing the work and helping make sure our city’s best days are still ahead.

There’s still time to vote! Polls are open until 7!

Town Meeting Day is THIS Tuesday, March 3.

Rutland has real momentum right now and a growing feeling that our best days are ahead. But that momentum only continues if we show up and vote.

Save this image to your phone and bring it with you into the voting booth. Share it with friends, family, and neighbors who want to keep Rutland moving forward.

Local elections are decided by small numbers of votes. A handful of ballots can shape the future of the city for years. Don’t assume others will do it. Don’t sit this one out.

Vote Tuesday. Bring someone with you. Let’s keep Rutland moving forward.

Town Meeting Day is this Tuesday, March 3.

Rutland has real momentum right now: new housing, downtown investment, and a renewed sense that the city’s best days are ahead. But progress only continues if we elect leaders ready to make smart, forward-thinking decisions.

If you want Rutland to keep moving forward, please make a plan to vote on Tuesday and support the candidates shown here. Polls are open from 7-7. Your vote will shape the year ahead.

Anna Tadio brings real experience to the conversation about public safety, both from her time on the Board of Aldermen and from responding to emergencies in the field. In this clip from the recent aldermanic forum, she explains what it takes to keep Rutland safe and why supporting our police, fire, and public works teams matters.

Great afternoon at Main Street Park. One of many energizing honk-and-wave events leading up to Town Meeting Day on Tuesday. So many honks, thumbs up, and kind words from neighbors passing by. A few not-so-friendly gestures too — but that just comes with public life these days. Grateful for the overwhelming encouragement.

Public safety is one of the biggest concerns we hear from residents, and Rick Baker has a clear perspective on it. In this clip from the aldermanic forum, he explains what he believes needs to change, and where Rutland is already strong.

I’ve started getting handwritten notes back from residents in response to my letter and it’s been really touching. In a time of texts and emails and Facebook comments, the effort and care it takes to sit down and write a letter means a lot. Whatever happens on Town Meeting Day, I’m grateful to be connecting with people and to live in a community where folks still reach out this way.

Alexandria Perone is raising her family right here in Rutland, and like many residents, she’s balancing real-world challenges while staying hopeful about where this city is headed.

If you want someone who knows Rutland — its history, its challenges, and its potential — listen to Peter Franzoni. In his opening statement at the recent aldermanic forum, he lays out why he’s stepping up and what he believes it will take to keep this city moving in the right direction.
