Town Meeting is this Saturday at 6pm!! And there will be childcare! It is important that EVERYONE has a say in what happens in our town, so please come out and let your voice be heard! Many important topics will be discussed and voted on. For example, Article 13 is to see if the town will add a new article to the General Bylaws to protect wetlands. I encourage you if nothing else, to come out to vote YES to protect our wetlands!!

Child care services will be offered for parents who would like to attend Annual Town Meeting!

Thank you to the teachers and students for coordinating this event and spending time with the kids so that more residents are able to attend! ☺️

Increasing commercial opportunities in Rutland is crucial to address budget issues. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below if you haven't already and make your voice heard!

Our Planning Department is seeking public input on the potential re-zoning of Route 68 to allow for economic development opportunities! Before beginning the lengthy process of a bylaw amendment, we would first like to determine if this is something of interest to our residents.

The survey will be available through Monday, May 12th via the link below. For those who prefer a paper copy, surveys are available at Town Hall, Town Hall Annex, the Rutland Library & the Senior Center.

We encourage residents to participate in the survey so that our Planning Board will have sufficient data to determine whether or not this is a worthwhile change for the Town. Should you have any questions, please refer to the contact information on the flyer below.

We thank you in advance for your participation! ☺️

Hello Rutland residents!

Moving to Rutland was one of the best decisions I ever made. There is something very special about this place we all call home. Rutland's vision statement describes that is crucial that we work together to make our long-range visions a reality for the next generation. I fully support the statement that we need sustainable growth that protects our natural, historic, and agricultural resources. All of our voices deserve to be heard and I'd like to be yours.
