If you’re applying for or filing a claim for VA benefits, California law prohibits notaries from charging a notary fee for qualifying veterans’ benefits documents.

Not everyone realizes that mobile notaries can travel to jails and correctional facilities.

Today I assisted a client at the South Placer County Jail. When someone is incarcerated, important life events don’t stop. Families may need Powers of Attorney, legal paperwork, financial documents, or other forms notarized, and having access to a professional mobile notary can make a difficult situation a little easier.

Hi!! I’m Ava — owner and operator of NorCal Notary and Live Scan.

I started my business in 2021, originally offering notary services before expanding into Live Scan fingerprinting. As a local mama serving the Roseville community, Placer County, and parts of Lincoln, my goal has always been simple: make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for my clients.

I offer convenient mobile services, meaning I come to you. Whether that’s meeting at a coffee shop, your home, or your place of business, I work around your schedule to help make those “to-do” tasks easier to complete.

I know notary work and fingerprinting are often things people are trying to squeeze into already busy lives, so I focus on flexibility, convenience, and a smooth experience from start to finish. I also offer flexible scheduling with evening availability to better accommodate working professionals and busy families.
