UNDO UNDO is transforming California by ending the to***co industry’s predatory and deadly influence. Our new name is UNDO. This includes personal attacks.

To***coFreeCA has a new name and vision for the future, but our mission remains the same: empowering communities to end the to***co epidemic. UNDO is transforming California by eradicating the to***co industry’s manipulative, predatory, and deadly influence to equitably increase the health, environmental, and economic well-being of California’s diverse populations. UNDO is part of the California D

epartment of Public Health’s To***co Prevention Program (CTPP). CTPP has 30 years of success pushing back against the to***co industry’s damage because Californians deserve healthy lives, lower healthcare costs, to***co-free communities, and an environment free of the to***co industry's toxic secondhand smoke and product waste. Addressing to***co-related health inequities is key to California’s efforts to fight to***co, our state’s number one cause of preventable death and disease.

's 2025 report confirms what we already know: cigarette butts remain the world's #1 most littered item. But it doesn't stop there.

To***co product waste = 25% of beach trash. Butts. Vapes. Lighters. Packaging. All toxic. All preventable.

Chemicals seeping into our oceans. Marine life suffering.

This is Big To***co's environmental footprint—and we don’t have to let it be ours.

Helping adults stop smoking is one of the most evidence-backed ways to improve the public’s health. Funding cuts have gutted to***co prevention programs across the country, especially quit lines. The data doesn't lie: Calls to quit lines have plummeted since anti-smoking campaigns went dark. Fewer resources. Fewer people quitting. And the to***co industry is working hard to profit from the situation.

Learn more about how lack of funding is making it harder to quit to***co https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/06/us/trump-anti-smoking-cuts.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share

That short burst of relief you feel when using ni****ne isn't what you think it is. Ni****ne use has been linked to irritability, panic attacks, and deeper depression, making it harder to feel like yourself without another hit.

Ni****ne is a poison, and pouches are designed to keep you hooked.

Don’t fall for what you hear online, and don’t be Big Ni****ne’s next lab rat.

Parents: with the recent FDA authorization of some flavored e-cigarettes, now is the time to have a conversation about va**ng with your children. This talk may be necessary sooner than you think, with kids as young as 7 being exposed to v**es at school and outside of home.

Ask your kids what they’ve heard. Listen first. Then help them separate the myths from the facts.

Over 40 v**e devices were confiscated at Turlock Junior High this school year. Schools across California are working hard to protect our kids. But they can't do it alone.

Parents, here’s what you need to know: Popular v**e devices can contain extremely high levels of ni****ne, a poison, and toxic chemicals that can permanently affect developing brains.

The ni****ne industry is deliberately designing modern v**es to deliver high concentrations of ni****ne more quickly, making addiction happen faster with products that can often look like everyday items – colorful, discreet and easy to conceal in school supplies.

Stay educated, have those hard conversations with your children, and together we can protect our kids from an industry betting on our silence.
