Big turnout today for the grand opening of Angry Chickz Nashville Chicken in Rocklin at the former site of Carl's Junior across from Costco in Stanford Ranch Road. Free Rocklin-branded shirts for the first 100 folks and other giveaways. This is the first location in Placer County and the 44th nationwide.

Congratulations to Chris and the team at Saints Coffee, which opened this week on Pacific Street across from the Neighborhood Walmart. Great atmosphere, open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Chris's second business in Rocklin.

The long-planned improvements to the Highway 65/Whitney Ranch Parkway intersection are under way, along with the first phase of what will be known as the Placer Parkway, initially extending Whitney Ranch Parkway to Foothills Boulevard extension (Map of Placer Parkway Below). Below is a diagram of what the intersection will become .. plus some photos of the construction.
