Clear Water Designs does more than custom ponds and waterfalls—we design complete outdoor spaces around the way our clients want to live.
When these homeowners moved in, their backyard was predominantly lawn, with very little space for family to gather and enjoy the outdoors. We redesigned the landscape to create more functional outdoor living space, and they asked for one special element: a focal point with the beautiful sound of water.
They already had a swimming pool, so instead of another large water feature, we designed a Fountainscape to become the centerpiece of the yard.
Their wish list was simple: color, texture, beautiful sound, low maintenance, and a child-safe design. Because this backyard is also exposed to intense summer heat, material selection was especially important. After considering several options, we chose ceramic pottery for its beauty, durability, and ability to stand up to the environment for years to come.
The result is a water feature that brings movement, color and sound into the landscape without taking up the entire yard.
