TDOR 2020 honors those who died between October 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020. For that period, 53 lives were taken in the United States (that we know of), and 386 worldwide; this includes death by violence, by self-harm, those who died in ways yet to be determined and sadly, this year, from COVID-19.

The DuoPACT Study (a project of the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies) is enrolling couples that are members of the LGBTQI+ community in which one or both partners are HIV-positive. You and your partner will be asked to help test a couple’s support program about HIV-related issues. Compensation is up to $180 per couple per study visit, enrollment in the study is for nine months, and all study visits are confidential. Study visits are mainly completed online. The purpose of this project is to help individuals in couple relationships improve their interactions and decision-making about HIV medications.

Goals and Objectives Specific goals and objectives are established by the Network Membership and staff in an annual collaborative planning process to prioritize state policy and funding issues. While not specific goals, the following list of roles for the Network should guide a priority setting process: 1. Advocate for public resources dedicated to LGBTQ health and human service priorities 2. Educate policymakers on the health and human service needs and policy concerns of LGBTQ communities 3. Hold government agencies accountable for appropriately and adequately serving LGBTQ communities 4. Help build the capacity and infrastructure of LGBTQ health and human service organizations to care for our communities 5. Facilitate exchange of information, collaboration, coordination among organizations 6. Contribute to the development of constructive engagement between local communities and public/county health systems
