Congratulations to Trustee-Elect Annie Fischer on her election to the Sacramento County Office of Education, Area 3!

While a few more ballots remain to be counted, with today's update we're confident that when all votes are counted, Annie will emerge victorious. Annie has defeated an incumbent Republican, flipping the seat from red-to-blue.

To see the initial unofficial election results (which will begin to be posted after the polls close at 8pm tonight), you can visit these websites:

The initial results will be posted around 8:15pm, and then twice more tonight two hours apart. Note that we will only get the initial election results tonight. The counting of ballots will continue over the next few weeks until ALL ballots are counted. Elections officials have until July 2nd to finish counting all the ballots, at which time the election results will be official.

*We have endorsed Annie Fischer for SCOE Area 3, Davon Thomas (running for SCOE Area 1) is listed on the election night watch party flyer with Annie due to both candidates holding a joint watch party, however note that we have not endorsed any candidate for SCOE Area 1.

Today is Election Day! The polls are open until 8:00pm this evening (June 2nd).

Return your ballot ASAP by dropping it off at a ballot drop box or vote center. If you lost your ballot or haven't yet registered to vote, you can still vote in-person at a vote center.

Please do not drop off your ballot in the mailbox (since it might not be postmarked in time), drop off your ballot at a vote center or ballot drop box instead.
