Let’s start the week off right with a little prayer that we can meditate on this week!

I hope you seek Him in all your ways. God is eager and waiting to hear from You. I think fear automatically comes with a negative connotation in the world. That word can sometimes makes us miss who God really is because we fear His wrath or we fear to ask for small bc there’s bigger problems He is attending to. What belief system gave us this mindset?

Fear causes apprehension, delays, worry, and doubt. But Reverent Fear should cause us to move with strength and boldness. Confidence knowing there’s Someone watching over us protecting us and covering us as we go about our days. Just like your image of a perfect parent, that is God for us. There to correct and push us in the best foot forward.

Where are you willing to let go & give it unto Him?

I don’t believe this scripture is telling us that if we’re struggling financially, we’re simply not working hard enough.

Life is more complicated than that. But I do believe there’s something powerful about the word diligence. The Bible gives a lot of farming analogies for the time it was in. How can we apply it now? A farmer doesn’t throw a seed into the ground and hope for the best. They have the discipline to leave the seed alone and trust the process.

What if we approached building wealth the same way?
Maybe your seed is saving.
Maybe it’s improving your credit.
Maybe it’s finally getting that life insurance policy.
Maybe it’s contributing to your retirement.
Maybe it’s purchasing your first home.
Maybe it’s learning how real estate investing works.
And maybe the harvest isn’t even for you.
That’s the part I really want us to contemplate.

Legacy doesn’t have to mean leaving millions to your children.
It can mean leaving knowledge.
An asset.
A home.
A business.
A policy.
An investment.
A nonprofit.
Or simply a blueprint that makes the next person’s journey a little easier.

As a first-generation American, I understand what it feels like when the blueprint wasn’t handed to you.
Sometimes we learn by watching.
Sometimes we learn through mistakes.
And sometimes we’re left carrying the consequences of decisions made before we ever had a say.

But somebody has to decide:
“It stops with me.”
And somebody has to decide:
“I’m going to plant something.”
Not just for myself.
For the person coming behind me.

So I’ll leave you with this:
What are you planting today that someone else could benefit from tomorrow?

💰 Gift Funds & Crypto have this in common:
✔️ Funds must be in U.S. dollars before closing.
✔️ Every dollar must be documented—lenders will verify where it came from.
✔️ Timing matters! Money that suddenly appears in your account can delay your loan.
✔️ Always have the tax conversation before moving money.

🏡 Here’s the difference:

🎁 Gift Funds: As the buyer, you typically don’t pay taxes on the gift. If the gift exceeds the annual IRS exclusion, the donor may need to file a gift tax return—but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll owe tax.

₿ Crypto: Selling appreciated cryptocurrency may trigger capital gains tax. If you’ve held it for more than a year, you may qualify for long-term capital gains rates. If you’ve held it for a year or less, it’s generally taxed at your ordinary income rate. Starting in 2025, many crypto transactions are also subject to expanded IRS reporting.

The biggest takeaway? Planning beats panicking every time. 💯
