**A Personal Note From the Owner of Lush Balloon & Backdrop Co. 💕**

Over the past several weeks, I've been navigating some unexpected challenges behind the scenes.

Since the end of August, my father has been hospitalized three times due to serious medical complications. During this time, I've been balancing my responsibilities as a daughter, my full-time career, and running a small business that means so much to me.

Unfortunately, there have been moments when I haven't been able to show up for my business in the way I normally would. Some orders and communications have been impacted, and I've recently discovered that messages I believed I had sent were never delivered.

To anyone who has experienced a delay, missed communication, or an experience that fell short of what you've come to expect from Lush, I want to sincerely apologize.

**While these circumstances have been beyond my control, I recognize that the impact on my customers still matters.**

I started Lush because I genuinely love creating beautiful, memorable experiences for people. Every inquiry, every booking, and every opportunity to be part of someone's special occasion means something to me. That hasn't changed.

I'm currently working to reconnect with anyone whose messages or inquiries may have been missed and putting additional measures in place to ensure better communication moving forward.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my business, shown patience, and extended grace during this season.

I'm still here, still creating, and still committed to providing the creativity, quality, and care that Lush was built on.

A little homecoming drama. 🖤🪩✨

I designed this homecoming send off setup and wanted it to feel bold, modern and completely photo-worthy.

The vision: layers of black and chrome balloons, oversized metallic stars, a black shimmer backdrop, sculptural starbursts and disco details to create a display that felt just as striking at night as it did during the day.

One of my favorite things about custom event design is that the balloons are only part of the story. It’s the scale, movement, texture, layering and finishing details that transform a backdrop into an experience.

Because your guests shouldn’t just walk past the decor, they should want to stop, take a photo and remember it. ✨

Introducing Boo-tique Halloween. We installed a luxe seasonal mirror installation designed for Growing Hands by KR.

Black, retro white, gold, striped pumpkins, bats, and a custom gold skeleton brought this setup to life, all centered around the perfect mirror message:
YOU LOOK BOO-TIFUL 👻

I wanted this install to feel stylish enough for the salon, but fun enough that clients would actually want to stop, take a selfie, and share it all season long.

Love this look? Boo-tique Halloween is also available as a balloon column, grab-and-go garland, or full backdrop setup.

Lush Gives Back: Breast Cancer Awareness

I have been wanting to do this for quite some time, and this October, I would love for Lush Balloon & Backdrop Co. to give back in a meaningful way.

Breast cancer has touched the lives of so many women I know and love. I am incredibly grateful that many of the women in my life who have faced this diagnosis are survivors, but I also know that this journey looks different for every woman and every family. This cause is very personal to me, and I would love to use my work to support a local organization helping bring awareness, encouragement, and community to those impacted by breast cancer. 💗

Lush would like to donate ONE Breast Cancer Awareness installation to a local nonprofit, organization, support group, hospital, community group, or event hosting a breast cancer awareness walk, fundraiser, survivor celebration, or similar event.

The installation will be donated to the first organization that shows interest AND has an event date that is currently open on my calander.

The organization may choose:

A fully branded Breast Cancer Awareness backdrop designed specifically for the event

OR

A 20-foot Breast Cancer Awareness organic balloon arch

This installation will be completely donated by Lush Balloon & Backdrop Co.

If you are organizing an upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness event in the Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Flint or surrounding area, or you know an organization that is, please tag them below or send Lush a message with the event details.
