🌪️🏠 Can their houses survive a hurricane?

Our middle school STEM students put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building model houses, then challenging them against simulated hurricane-force winds! Through creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, students learned how engineers design structures to withstand extreme weather conditions.

Learning is hands-on, exciting, and real-world at its best! 🔬💨💙

🧪🌎 Science in Action! 🌎🧪

Our middle school students put Earth's atmosphere to the test during their "Blanket of Protection" Lab as part of the Spheres of Earth Unit! Students explored how the atmosphere acts like a protective blanket, helping regulate our planet's temperature and creating the conditions needed for life to thrive.

Through hands-on investigation, students observed how Earth's atmosphere traps and distributes heat, preventing extreme temperature swings and protecting our planet from becoming too hot or too cold.
