On behalf of the OMSD administration and staff, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of Ben Taylor. Ben faithfully served this district for many years as both a teacher and a member of the school board, and we are truly grateful for his dedication and service. He was a valued friend to his greater community and a man who stood firmly for his beliefs. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Kindergarten Registration will be held on Friday, April 10th from 10:00 AM -4:00 PM. Enrollment packets may be picked up at the school. When picking up your packet, please bring the following items so copies can be made for school records.
*Immunization Records
*Birth Certificate
*Physical from a Doctor
* Social Security Card
Children must be 5 years old on or BEFORE August 1st to enroll. We are excited to welcome our newest students?

There will be no school tomorrow. It was originally scheduled as a makeup snow day, but in observance of Good Friday, school will not be in session.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the regularly scheduled Ozark Mountain School District Board Meeting on March 19th will be held at the Western Grove Campus instead of the St. Joe Campus. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Western Grove cafeteria.

Due to the Ozark Mountain School District operating on a four-day school week and district offices being closed on Monday, March 9, the deadline to submit paperwork for the open Zone 6 Board Member vacancy has been extended.

All required application paperwork must now be submitted no later than Tuesday, March 10 during regular business hours.

Ozark Mountain School District (OMSD) will soon host an informational meeting regarding the upcoming millage election. This meeting is intended to provide district stakeholders with factual information about the proposed millage and the circumstances surrounding it.

The meeting will take place on February 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Joe Elementary Gymnasium.

Michael Dobbs, a district financial advisor employed by First Security Beardsley, will present financial information related to the millage. Members of the OMSD staff will also be present to provide additional context and information.

In advance of the meeting, stakeholders are encouraged to submit questions related to the millage by emailing [email protected]. Submitted questions may be addressed during the presentation or used to guide discussion.

We hope to see everyone at this informational event and appreciate the community’s continued engagement in the future of Ozark Mountain School District.
