Minnesota Independent School Forum The Minnesota Independent Schools Forum prides itself on being an organization that strives to enhance and enrich the education of students in grades K-12.

Kids – We put the interests of Minnesota’s independent school students first. Always. Global Perspective – We believe that independent schools - religious, secular, and pedagogical - play a vital role in Minnesota’s education system and create contributing citizens and workforce leaders for the future. Equitable Access – We believe that independent schools should be able to afford to serve all stu

dents and that every student should have the opportunity to participate in appropriate state and federal education programs. Choice – We support the rights of parents to educate their kids in the schools of their choice. Quality – We support schools in their efforts to provide the best education possible to help students become 21st century learners and leaders. Collaboration - We work in partnership with other organizations in the sector to promote issues of universal interest, while supporting the right of every independent school to fulfill their unique missions to serve their students. Truth – We are committed to ensuring that the state’s education dialogue is grounded in fact by providing policy makers and the public with accurate and timely data and information.
