Thanks to Farmer Matt of Spring Lake Farm for having FOX 9 Good Day and Dale K out to the farm store this morning! While the signal dropped halfway through, we still got to show off the beautiful produce (strawberries! sweet corn! cucumbers!) and highlight what how magical it is when people can see exactly where their food is grown, and connect with the farmers who grow it!

Region Nine Development Commission Local Foods Month is serving up sweet, spicy, and refreshing creations! B2B Honey Co is starring in special dishes across Mankato—from hot‑honey hushpuppies to a Hot Honey Ahi Tuna BLT.

Alternative Roots Farm is supplying gorgeous berries and rhubarb for new sorbets and gelatos at Mom & Pops.

Stone Hearth Farm & Garden from Madelia will have their edible pansies featured on Waseca based, Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm’s Blueberry Cheesecake Dessert Pizza.

La Tia Farm from Northfield will be partnering with Grapeful W**e Bar in Owatonna for dishes featuring locally grown tomatillos, tomatoes, peppers, and sweet corn.
