I wasn’t born here...but I will always be grateful to call America home 🏡 🇺🇸

When I was growing up, America was just a place I'd heard about. You saw it in movies, heard stories, and wondered what it would be like, but I never thought I'd actually live here one day.

Now it's home.

It's where I've built a life, where I'm raising my kids, where we've made memories, and where I've been given opportunities I never imagined.

I think that's why the 4th of July means so much to me. When you've left one country to start over in another, you see things a little differently. You don't take freedom, opportunity, or this country for granted.

Tonight, while we enjoy the fireworks with our families, I'll also be thinking about the men and women who made this life possible. Thank you to every veteran, every active-duty service member, and every military family. Because of your sacrifice, families like mine get to call America home.
