Most Minnesota child support orders require a cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) every two years. If your case is due for a COLA in 2023, the Child Support Division and county child support offices are mailing a notice to you the week of March 27, 2023 at the address it has for you in its system.

Minnesota law requires child support and spousal maintenance orders to include a cost-of-living provision, unless the court specifically waives it.
