📬 Last Call for the Postcard Project! 🌎

There’s still time to help our Veteran Residents travel the world—one postcard at a time!

Throughout the summer, postcards from near and far have brought smiles, sparked memories, and inspired conversations at Minnesota’s eight Veterans Homes. If you’ve been meaning to send one, now is the time!

💌 Please mail your postcards by September 15 and address them to Attn: Postcard Project at any Minnesota Veterans Home.

Whether your postcard comes from across the globe, across the country, or right here in Minnesota, every message reminds our Veterans that they are remembered, appreciated, and connected to their communities.

Employee Spotlight ✨

After graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in broadcast journalism, Cole thought a career in television news was ahead. Two internships with the Minnesota House of Representatives sparked an interest in government and public service, leading to a full-time role at the House and eventually to MDVA in 2016.

Today, as MDVA’s Government Affairs Liaison, Cole uses those communication and government skills to advocate for Veterans and their families, helping move legislation forward and secure resources for the care, benefits and services Veterans have earned.
