Minnesotans are already seeing higher energy costs and it’s only going to get worse when Minnesota’s strict new energy laws kick in.

Nuclear power has to be part of the solution. It’s safe, clean, reliable, and affordable.

Yesterday, Republicans tried to end Minnesota’s outdated nuclear moratorium, but Democrats voted along party lines to keep it in place.

Time is running out. We need to lift this moratorium now.

Minnesota Democrats are forcing through legislation that restricts state and local cooperation with ICE and expands protections for illegal immigrants.

Minnesotans deserve a government
that puts their safety first. We can’t ignore the victims of crimes committed by people who shouldn’t have been in our country in the first place.

Today is the National Day of Prayer, and we had a special event here at the Capitol. Thanks to everyone who came to St. Paul to reflect on God’s grace, give thanks, and pray for our state and nation. God bless Minnesota and God bless the USA!

Senate Democrats betrayed the Constitution and rammed through an assault on the Second Amendment.

They packaged school safety funding with an unconstitutional gun grab because they don’t actually care about keeping kids safe. This was a political bill to strip our God-given rights to self-defense.

We won’t forget this betrayal of our rights.

Many of you have asked why I attended Governor Walz’s State of the State address yesterday. Let me be clear.

Even though Gov. Walz has degraded the office he holds, Senate District 29 deserves strong representation in that room.

By showing up, we sent a clear message that we don’t back down. We reject the corruption, fraud, crime, bloated government, weak judges, DEI hoaxes, and the destruction of public safety that have defined the last seven years of the Walz administration.

Tim Walz’s time as governor is ending. Our fight is just beginning.

This week in the Senate, we debated major omnibus policy bills. Omnibus bills are in direct violation of the Minnesota Constitution, but that’s just the way the Democrat majority is doing things this year.

This week I testified with Wright County Administrator Greg Kryzer in the Transportation Committee, advocating for funding to improve the intersection at Highway 24 and County Highway 145 near Clearwater.

Thanks for fighting for local infrastructure!

Democrats should look in the mirror - Minnesotans are struggling under their policies, while blame gets shifted elsewhere.

I hope you’ve had a good week. We’re heading into the final stretch of session, and today (Friday, April 17) is the third major deadline. That means all the big spending and finance bills have to get out of committee by 5 p.m. or they’re most likely dead for the year. So far, this has been a s...
