We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Debohra (Debby) Ann Lute, who passed away on November 19, 2025, at age 66, after a short but fierce battle with cancer.
Debby lived a life deeply rooted in family, faith, and service to others. Her final days were spent in the comfort of her home and in the presence of her loved ones.
Debby was the devoted and faithful spouse of Daniel Lute, an amazing and determined mother to children Joshua (46), Josiah (45), Austin (39), Alyssa (37), and Ashley (31), the beloved and fun-loving grandma to twenty grandchildren, and a tireless and humble servant to her large extended family as well as numerous friends, coworkers, and employees.
Debby took great pride in her work as the Executive Director of Connections365, a non-profit organization providing foster connections for youth and families in the Salem-Keizer area, and in her many years of selfless ministry with her husband Dan and family at multiple churches throughout Oregon.
Funeral Service Information: The family will hold a memorial service on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Morning Star Community Church. A reception will follow. All family, friends, and fans are invited to attend and celebrate Debby’s life.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Debby Lute Memorial Fund.
