Next week make sure to drop off your art at Box of Bubbles!
Re-home and upcycle your art treasures! The Salida Council for the Arts is collecting prints, posters, paintings, wall hangings, sculptures, and pottery to resell at their community 2nd Chance Art Sale. Give your gently used treasures a new home and a 2nd chance to be enjoyed.
Most donations will be sold $10-$50 with all proceeds going to Salida Council for the Arts to fund grant and scholarship programs.
Donations can be dropped off at Box of Bubbles, 206 E Street, Salida.
Thursday, May 28th 3-7pm
Saturday, May 30th 9am-1pm
The 2nd Chance Art Sale will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 9am-4pm at Box of Bubbles, 206 E Street, Salida. (Unsold items will be donated)

Spring has sprung! What a nice evening to join fellow arts lovers for an evening of art & conversation while listening to musician Coleman Twyford!! Enjoy free snacks while chatting and enjoying your favorite beverage available at the cash bar. AND, be sure to share what's going on in your creative spaces during the SoapBox announcements.
Artist Wendy Mitchell exhibits contemporary cyanotypes and mixed media botanicals using cyanotype, watercolor, acrylic, collage, and gold linework to bring together light, texture, and intentional beauty.
Nora Petran, artist and founder of Imprint Collective, uses natural dyes of flower petals, leaves, and other items from nature to create textiles, fiber art, silk scarves and ecoprints.
Photographer Jim Cannela specializes in Western lifestyle and culture and the magnificent landscapes and wildlife of the great American West.
