🎡🍿🚀🎈 Let's go to the Fair!!! Choices Network will once again take groups of individuals to the Kansas State Fair on September 11, 15, 17, and 18. We have purchased passes for our network so you can attend for FREE! Individuals will need to bring their own spending money for food and drinks for lunch. If you want to attend on any of the days listed above, please contact Mike or Shannon.

Choices Network will be headed into the Wild West on Thursday, August 20, to visit the Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, KS. We will be leaving the office around 9:30am and returning by 3:30pm. Cost is $10 per person. Please bring a cold sack lunch to eat and any medications. RSVP to Mike or Shannon by August 17 to attend.

Day Service Update: 2231C Centennial Rd is now a 2nd Day Service location!

Sometimes it can get a little chaotic and loud in the day service area! Sometimes we just need a change of pace, a different focus, or some quiet time, and this can all happen at the 2nd location.

There is a quiet reading room where individuals can read and be read to, a place to do floor exercises, a puzzle room where multiple individuals can join in, a place to do learning, and a place to just chill with friends.

In addition, this space can be used to work on job skills, develop resumes, practice interviewing, and other skills needed to obtain outside employment.

It’s only fitting to make our July Spotlight about Blake!

Blake has been a fixture at Choices for many years! His love of the Kansas City Chiefs is well known throughout the halls! Blake and his family recently moved out of state, which we are all so happy for them, but very sad for us!

There will be no one to call the guys “old man,” no one to chant “TheMan, The Myth, The Legend, Blake Matthew Glassburn” and no one to take the guys to IHOP for breakfast!

We are all blessed for having had Blake in our lives, and he will be missed. Have fun in the next phase of your life!

Are you ready to play some old-school Pac-Man or Donkey Kong? How about trying your hand at Mario Kart? Choices Network Day Services will be going to The Arcade in Wichita on July 17th. Cost is $20 and includes pizza, drink and UNLIMITED play time! 🎮 👾🕹

There are some accessibility limitations and it will be quite loud and busy, but if you are a Day Services patron and would like to go, please let Shannon or Mike know by July 13th.
