I’ve worked hard to stay positive but sometimes it’s just sad. We put a lot of heart, creativity and passion into this space and it just hurts to see it like this. With continued storms the Playhouse continues to have water damage and the mall does not have a reopen date anytime soon. We are looking for a new location but haven’t been able to find the right place yet.

Thank you to all the wonderful families and friends that have reached out in support. The meals and care for our family are so appreciated. You have all been such a blessing to our family and we can’t thank you all enough! 💕

We are working almost non-stop to try to clean out the space and get everything for the playhouse into storage and also set up our new studio space for Joyful Noise Studios. It’s been quite the adventure for our family. Your continued grace and support as we work through this is what keeps us going!

We trust in a great plan and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Today we want to celebrate three very special members of our Playhouse family — Lydia Gerry, Allen Johnson, and Isak Howe — on their graduation from high school! 🎓✨
These three have each brought so much energy, creativity, kindness, and joy to the Playhouse as staff members. Whether helping behind the scenes, encouraging kids, making people laugh, or creating unforgettable memories, they have each left a lasting mark on our community.
We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see where life takes them next. Thank you, Lydia, Allen, and Isak, for sharing your talents and hearts with the Playhouse. You will always be part of this family. ❤️

We’re so sad to share this 💔
Due to extreme storm damage, the Playhouse is currently closed. This isn’t the news we wanted to give, but we’re already working hard to find a new space and will keep you updated as soon as we know more.

The Playhouse is closed until further notice. We’ll update as soon as we can!

***Update: Saturday, June 13th, 10:49am.

Due to storm damage since April 27th, the Central Mall is temporarily closed.

There is no set timeline for when the Central Mall will reopen to the public.
