Leading this group has been such a blessing. It has made my time in Connecticut an unforgettable adventure. I love the philosophy of a dear aunt of mine. She never says goodbye; instead she says, “See ya.” So I’m saying, “See ya.” Lord willing, I’ll be back to visit and enjoy a few more hikes!

Monday's Hike at Sweetheart Mountain. I questioned the wisdom of doing this, given the windchill, but I underestimated my merino wool and the warmth generated by going uphill 😎

Our hiker Pam is a photographer, and she took these photos during yesterday's hike. The difference between her pics and mine is amazing! I had to circle the deer or you would never know they were in the photo😆 Plus, I didn't even see the heron 🙈

A nice walk yesterday!

We enjoyed our afternoon at Hawk Hill Farm yesterday, even though we lost the blazes on the loop by the pond and had to go bit off trail. Good cellphone reception and trusty Runkeeper got us back on track 😊
