Centro de la Familia (Centro) is a non-profit agency devoted to promoting educational success for children and families, and fostering healthy and engaged communities. Centro has had a presence throughout the entire state of Utah since 1975. We offer family strengthening classes in Spanish and English as well as Head Start services throughout the State of Utah.

Our Colega Program, developed by the Geneva Office for Human Rights Education, is helping children and families learn about the rights and dignity every person deserves. ❤️

Through this program, parents gain the knowledge and tools to better understand their own rights, advocate for their children, and support their growth and success. By teaching human rights education, we are helping build stronger families, empowered communities, and a future rooted in peace, respect, and dignity for all. 🌎

These are just a few examples of the important rights we teach and discuss throughout our program, helping families feel informed, confident, and empowered in their everyday lives.

As we spend time with family and loved ones this Memorial Day, we’re especially grateful for the sacrifices that made those moments possible. Thinking today of the heroes we’ve lost and the families who continue to carry their memory with them.
