Yep! We're on the job!

Throughout the summer months, free Water Checks are available by county. Water Checks only take 1 to 1.5 hours (depending on the size of the property), and are completed by trained evaluators. Your evaluator will provide you with a customized irrigation schedule. Soil type, grass root depth, water pressure, sprinkler efficiency and precipitation rates are also determined.

Have we convinced you yet? Visit slowtheflow.org to learn where and when free Water Checks are performed.

p.s. If a free Water Check isn't available in your area, you can perform your very own DIY water check. Visit cwel.usu.edu/do-your-own-water-check to learn more.

The recent snowfall was epic (especially for this time of year)– did you go enjoy the slopes? β›·πŸ‚

Unfortunately, it didn't help much to improve conditions. We're still below average and isn't easing up either. ☹️ We should all be hoping that Mother Nature brings more April showers. 🌧 Just a reminder–most of Utah can still

Now, we see a lot of people blaming and shaming- so if you're seeing water waste... you can report to Water.Utah.Gov/FameOrShame and we'll forward the information to the local water provider. You can also provide compliments for waterwise landscapes and show them off!

It takes all of us to save Utah’s most precious resource (water). In case you haven’t heard yet, Utah’s in a really bad drought. All the recent rain/snow hasn’t diminished . Please, we 𝐁𝐄𝐆 you– be where you can, when you can.

Only some southern Utah counties need to be watering now. But for the rest of Utah, it’s ok for your grass to stay brown a little longer – it’s been dormant (hibernating) all winter and will rebound. Save now so there’s more to use when things really heat up.

But if you’re doing any of the following:

β€’ Lightly water newly applied fertilizer (even better, time the application prior to a rainstorm).
β€’ Repair and test damaged sprinklers.
β€’ Establish new seed or sod.
β€’ Mark sprinklers prior to aerating.

Turn off the water when you’re done and .

And we also 𝐁𝐄𝐆 you to like and share our page with your friends and family! ☺
