This little buddy came in after the storms last week. So far his journey has been tough. As of today (4th photo) his eyes are cleared up and he is eating well 🥰.

Hopefully he feels better too!

The storms were brutal in some areas, luckily here we got only a little rain (and orphans).

We will be hosting events, raffles and donation drives to help us prepare for fall repairs and winter feeding. Hope to see ya soon!

Nocturnal Nights just got more fun!

Get ready for some wild fun at our Rock'n Rehab Rock Painting Workshop — benefiting Petri’s Place Wildlife Rehab and helping us knock out those big, costly animal expenses.

Hosted by Fund The Wild, this is one date night event to be remembered!

Whether your artstic is mastered completely or non-existant, this guided step-by-step workshop will unleash your inner crativity, with no artistic experience needed. Let the animals and the anticipation of spooky season be your muse.

🦝 What’s Included

Your ticket includes all of the supplies needed (rocks, paint, kraft paper...)
1 Raffle ticket for a Nocturnal Nights prize
Hands on assistance
🦝 Drinks Available to Purchase from Retro Sips & Brews

🦝 Bonus Style Inspiration

If you’re feeling whimsical, let’s be honest: opossums and raccoons would look fabulous painted on your rocks —because wildlife deserves some main-character energy, too.

🦝 Reserve Your Spot

Grab your ticket to help support injured and displaced wildlife—while you enjoy an evening being artistic with friends.

Link will be in comments and stories. We can't afford to pay Meta for the ability to post links more than twice a month. We'd rather spend it on the animals. Mmhmm

Meet Thistle 🦔

This little dude was found in the road eating a small toad.

Since he has been here, he's been eating and drinking nonstop then napping. Poor little buddies.

He's very lovey and winky. Lots of flirty winks 😉 😆.

Sometimes pet decisions don't go well and animals are dumped in "wild" that shouldn't be. If you have an exotic pet that needs to be rehomed, please reach out to us. No Facebook marketplace, no dumping, we dont charge a rehome fee...we just save bebes.

Welcome Thistle.

I'm about to get mad! 😡😡😡

Baby Kirby is BIG mad that she has to share space with other skunks. The nerve.

Timothy and Lavender don't seem to mind but Kirby is not thrilled.

She got madder over time and ended up winning and getting some privacy.

She will eventually come around. It just isn't today 😆 😅 .

He said "NOPE!"

Critter Cam: Ramp Watch

This little skunk does NOT believe im sharing. He said NOT TODAY POSSUM!

There is enough for everyone (up higher where the skunks don't climb) and it gets refilled. Its just funny to see them get so upset over the smallest things 🤣 😂

Skunk tantrums are cute. They just are.

Critter Cam: Ramp Watch

Well, well, well...

This guy is back. The ramp, or loading area, has been visited again by a mysterious raccoon (one that snuck out of a back enclosure) that we seem to not be able to locate ALL day but p**f, is out as soon as we go to bed.

We will find you lil man. We will put you back in your enclosure with your buddies. We will leave a trail of that kibble you seem to love so much 😆 🤣 😂.

Count your days! (He's not in trouble, he just needs ro be with his raccoon friends so he can be released with them instead of being left behind by accident. Its incredibly important for him and his ability to stay safe that he be able to remain with his group)

We ❤️ our bebes so we will help him get back to his family.
