Abigail's House is just one of several outreaches of Dee Vickery Ministries. Our heart and call is to bring women into full revelation of who they are and WHOSE they are...to put them in touch with their God-ordained purpose and destiny! We do that through our Love Encounters that we sponsor and host three times a year; through our one on one weekly mentoring and discipling program, and of course
through our 90-day residential equipping and empowering program. The way we do that is unique, but powerful. It's a total break from tradition, both secular and religious. For anyone needing help please call the office of DVM 210-355-8023 We are not a Rehab, although women bound by alcohol or drugs come here, not to get off drugs or alcohol, but to discover their TRUE identity and purpose in Christ, to be healed and set free, to be empowered and equipped to be all that God created them to be! We are not a temporary emergency shelter for victims of family violence. We are not temporary housing. We are a healing place. We are a private, Christian facility. Women, who have tried the more conventional ways of dealing with depression, anxiety, and/or unnatural grief come here almost as their last hope. Hope is exactly what they find at Abigial's House! Part of Abigail's House Ministries is our residential program. We have on 2 occassions tried having ladies stay here in my spare bedroom, but that wasn't good for the student or me! We both needed a break from each other, at least over night. We are releasing our faith and calling in the money needed to finish out The Cabin which can sleep up to 3 women. It's already on property. The Cabin, when completed, will be like a Shaby Chic bunkhouse for ladies. Plelnty of frills! God has an amazing plan for every woman.
