Good morning Universal City residents. We are open this Saturday, September 19th from 8:00 to 3:00 for city license renewals and from 10:00 to 2:30 for adoptions. We also have our Volunteer Orientation class scheduled for today from 10:30 to 11:30 here at our shelter.
Penny Paws is also sponsoring their low cost shot clinic today from 11:00 to 1:00 in front of the dog park.

Meet Penelope our little dachshund mix!

At 3-months-old and just 10 pounds, she is a little bundle of joy, love and energy. She's a tiny bit shy when you first meet her but give her just 2 minutes and you're sure to be her new best friend. Say hello to She!

Yes, we know her name is a little strange... But "She" is actually the name listed on her microchip, so that's what we're sticking with!

She came to us as a transfer from Schertz Animal Control in hopes that we can help her find her new forever home. Previous attempts have been made to contact her original owners, but unfortunately, they never responded. She has officially been considered abandoned.

She is approximately 2 years old, spayed, microchipped and ready to go home! She is a very active, yet independent dog. She LOVES squeaky toys and is perfectly content entertaining herself with all the toys. She loves going for car rides and sticking her head out the window!
