“I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.” -Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird.

Thanks to my brother who gave me this quote and who knows well the virtue in seeing it through no matter what.

And thanks to all my supporters. We presented a message of self-government, good design, and smart solutions that needed to be voiced in this city and all localities around the country. I will continue to be that voice no matter what. I don't expect to win every time, but eventually we will prevail.

This is not an end. This is a beginning.

God bless y'all.
