For the first time in history, Sullivan Environmental Science Academy, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Cynthia Clayborn and Club Manager Cora Mendez, has earned the esteemed Texas 4-H Champion School title. This milestone has been years in the making.

Sullivan’s commitment to experiential learning consistently surpasses expectations, spanning beyond agriculture to include consumer education, wildlife preservation, and more.

The award was presented at the Cameron County Commissioners Court in Brownsville by Cameron County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development, Analisa Sanchez, and Stephanie Salinas from Prairie View A & M Extension. The initiative aims to boost agricultural literacy and offer students practical, hands-on experiences that link agriculture, leadership, STEM, and real-world skills.

Congratulations to the students and staff of the Sullivan Environmental Science Academy! πŸŽ‰πŸ†πŸŒπŸ€
