The Community Service & Reentry Division brought kids from the Love for Literacy (L4L) program to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Rodeo!

L4L helps incarcerated parents stay connected by providing supervised visits with their children. This special day gave the kids a chance to bond, have fun, and participate in the Saddle Up Program — filled with rodeo fun, positive role models, and unforgettable memories.

Last Friday, toured the River’s Edge Ranch and highlighted the vital partnership with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in helping those released from custody reintegrate into society and break the cycle of incarceration.

River’s Edge offers a proven, multi-phase recovery program that empowers men to rebuild their lives from addiction. Through hands-on work, animal-assisted therapy, community service, and faith-based mentorship, they’re finding success even after other rehabilitation attempts have fallen short.
