We’ve been keeping a secret. Today we get to tell you…
For months, behind the scenes, our Better Together family has been working on something we could barely keep quiet.
You know why Better Together exists. You know we believe foster parenting is the most important therapeutic work in America, and that every hurt child deserves a family that will NEVER give up on them.
But some of you may also know where we learned it.
For 26 years, a legendary San Diego program proved the impossible with the tiniest and most vulnerable children of all, our foster babies. While infants in the traditional system were bounced from one home after another in their first year, this program’s babies had ONE. One family. One crib. One promise that never broke. More than 10,000 little ones in San Diego, Santa Barbara and Oklahoma City.
All finding the safe and committed loving homes and families they needed to heal and learn to trust again.
That program was Angels Foster Family Network. And this spring, California’s insurance crisis closed its doors after 26 years. Not because it failed a child. It never did. 💔
We could not let that be the end of the story.
So today, with founder Cathy Richman standing with us, we are beyond proud to announce:
✨ ANGELS 2.0 IS HERE. ✨
The gold standard is back, as the newest member of the Better Together family, specializing in foster babies & children ages 0 to 5. Same unbreakable rules: one baby (or siblings) per home, and a family that stays. Forever if needed. Led by experienced Angels parents who lived this mission in our own homes.
Better Together for the older kids who need us. Angels 2.0 for the babies. One family of programs, one promise: nobody gives up on our kids. 💙💛
