📣Join the PHR Library Book Club on Wed. 6/10 from 11am-12:30pm for fun and interesting conversation! We'll be discussing Yellowface by R.F. Kuang. Timely and razor-sharp, Yellowface takes on questions of diversity, racism, and cultural appropriation not only in the publishing industry but in the persistent erasure of Asian-American voices and history by Western white society. https://sandiego.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S161C1727415

New members and guests are always welcome!

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, July 8. We'll be selecting books for August-December 2026, so bring a list of titles to share!

Remember: It’s never too early for early literacy. Storytime can help young children develop essential literacy skills that will help them get ready to read and on the right path to school readiness and student success. At storytime we focus on these foundational skills that are the building blocks for learning to read and write: Talking, Singing, Reading, and Playing!
