Some of the strongest stories begin with one word: Mom. ❤️

This Mother’s Day, we asked youth to share a message for the women who stood beside them through every challenge, every milestone, and every moment in between.

From early mornings and long nights, to competitions, school, support, sacrifice, and unconditional love, these are the voices of young people reflecting on the impact their mothers have had on their lives.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at SBCS.

We are honored to receive the Community Grant Award from CECO. This is more than funding, it is an investment in families navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives. With this support, we can continue to strengthen our shelter services and provide safety, stability, and hope when it is needed most. Moments like these remind us that our community is showing up for one another in powerful ways.
