And you are worried she cannot handle your onboarding process?

Welcome Home, Pinckney Families! 💙⚓️

What an incredible day Sunday was! It was an absolute honor to see so many families reunited with their sailors and to share in such a special homecoming. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey throughout this deployment. It has truly been a privilege to serve you and your families.

As we move into the reintegration period, remember that coming home is just the beginning. Our service members may need time to decompress, readjust, and settle back into everyday life. Every person and every family will experience this differently, so continue to give each other grace, patience, and understanding. ❤️

Most importantly, you don’t have to navigate this transition alone. There are resources available to support service members and families, including:

⚓️ Chaplain & CREDO Services
⚓️ Fleet & Family Support Centers (FFSC)
⚓️ Military OneSource
⚓️ Counseling and family support resources

If you or your family need assistance with food, childcare, housing, emotional support, or finding the right resource, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am still here and will always do my best to help connect you with the support you need.

These next few weeks are important. Give your sailors grace, look out for one another, and remember that asking for help is okay. 💙

Thank you again for making Sunday such a memorable homecoming. It was an honor to celebrate with you, and I look forward to continuing to support our Pinckney families! ⚓️🇺🇸

⚓️ PINCKNEY FAMILIES — HOMECOMING UPDATE! ⚓️

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! 💙

As of now, USS Pinckney is scheduled to return tomorrow Sunday, August 9th! 🎉

Families can anticipate seeing their Sailors approximately between 1030–1300 at Pier 10, Naval Station San Diego.

Please remember that weather, tides, and operational requirements can impact the timeline, so we ask everyone to remain flexible and watch for any updates.

🪪 BASE ACCESS

Have a Dependent ID, active-duty ID, or other authorized base access?
You do not need a visitor pass. You can enter through the gate as normal and proceed to Pier 10.

You may enter through Gate 9 or the Main Gate.

🎟️ NEED TO PICK UP YOUR VISITOR PASS?

If you completed the visitor pass form and submitted your required documentation, a Sailor in uniform will be outside the Visitor Control Center distributing passes.

🕗 Pass pickup: 0800–1200

📍 Visitor Control Center
3101 Harbor Drive
San Diego, CA 92136

🚌 DIDN’T COMPLETE THE VISITOR PASS FORM?

A shuttle will be available to transport families from the Visitor Control Center to Pier 10.

Parking at the Visitor Control Center is limited to approximately 50 spaces and will be first come, first served.

🚗 PARKING

We have secured the lot near the pier. Since Sunday is expected to be less busy, there should be parking available near the pier in the event the lot fills up.

A parking lot is located near the intersection of:

📍 Mole Road & Womble Street
National City, CA 92136

Please follow all posted signs and parking restrictions and only park in authorized areas.

Several organizations will also be set up near the pier to provide resources and support to our families, so you should be able to easily find the homecoming area.

💙 We are SO excited to welcome our Sailors home! 💙

Thank you all for your patience, flexibility, and incredible support throughout this deployment.

Fingers crossed—we’ll see you at Pier 10 tomorrow! ⚓️🇺🇸

GO PINCKNEY!
