On October 19, 2024 the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego will host the 22nd Annual BootCamp Challenge, a 3-mile obstacle run. This unique race features obstacles used only by Marine Corps Recruits, plus over 60 USMC Drill Instructors that "encourage" participants along the race course. Due to the federal goverment shutdown, the 2025 MCRD Boot Camp Challenge has been canceled. We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding, and we look forward to welcoming participants back at a future event once normal operations resume.

All paid participants will automatically receive a full refund for their 2025 Boot Camp Challenge registration. No action is required. Please allow two weeks for the refund to be processed, depending on your financial institution.

🌟 This year is special. YOU have the opportunity to run the same historic grounds that more than 1.5 million young men and women have trained to become U.S. Marines since 1921.

You’ll tackle a 3-mile obstacle course and feel the motivation of over 60 Marine Corps Drill Instructors. The event is free for spectators, and the course is designed for all fitness levels and ages 14+.
