Rates of fertility and fecundity have declined substantially over the last 40 years, while rates of miscarriage and preterm birth have increased. Climate-related exposures — from extreme heat and air pollution to microplastics and endocrine-disrupting chemicals — may be an important and underrecognized contributor.

The ECA program brings together a cohort of UCSF researchers for monthly sessions covering everything from grant writing and job applications to paper submissions and presentations — plus career insights from guest speakers across the EaRTH community. No environmental health background required, just interest.

Complete the program and you could apply for a competitive pilot award of up to $7,500 to support your research.
