We’re taking over The Warfield on Thursday, November 5, for GLIDE’s Annual Holiday Jam 2026: Turn It Up and Turn It Out! Come spend a night with us filled with music, delicious food, and familiar faces.

Every ticket supports our community. The cost of a $125 balcony ticket can help provide Thanksgiving dinner for 32 community members or toys for 12 children. A $550 orchestra ticket can help someone reconnect with loved ones through our Journey Home program.

Parents have enough on their plates. Finding quality child care they can afford shouldn’t be another hurdle.

Yesterday, we co-hosted the Childcare Fall Forum with the San Francisco Child Care Planning and Advisory Council (CPAC), welcoming families, providers and city leaders to GLIDE.

Our President and CEO Dr. Gina Fromer spoke about the children we serve through our Janice Mirikitani Family, Youth, and Childcare Center and affirmed GLIDE's commitment to advocating for childcare access.

Mayor Daniel Lurie and Supervisor Bilal Mahmood attended, with Chief Kunal Modi, Supervisor Danny Sauter, Meenoo Yashar and parent Gabriela Curiel bringing policy, early learning and firsthand parenting experience to the panel.

Thank you to CPAC members Liz, Yensing and Ryan for helping bring this conversation to GLIDE, and to everyone who spent the evening with us.

Come share what your family needs from child care tonight at GLIDE. Whether you’re searching for care or have an experience you want heard, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re co-hosting the Childcare Fall Forum with the San Francisco Child Care Planning and Advisory Council. Our President & CEO, Rev. Dr. Gina Fromer, will moderate a panel with Kunal Modi, Supervisor Danny Sauter, Meenoo Yasha and parent Gabriela Curiel.

Mayor Daniel Lurie will be there to speak and listen, and Supervisor Bilal Mahmood will share remarks. After the panel, you’ll have time to ask questions.

Today, at Glide Memorial Church, the marvelous Zoe Ellis taught us to sing about joy in the midst of struggle. We learned from our guest preacher Rabbi Noa Kushner that the problem with the Garden of Eden wasn't that Adam and Eve ate the apple-- the problem was they believed the snake!

A witness shared a heartfelt testimony about how every forgotten and unhoused person is necessary to make our song complete. Every Sunday Celebration is eventful here-- we hope to see you next Sunday.

We loved seeing our neighbors out on Ellis Street for Phoenix Day today!

From noon to 4 p.m., we spent the afternoon together between Taylor and Jones, enjoying food trucks, family activities, and performances by Danza Xitailli, our Glidettes, and our GLIDE Ensemble led by Zoe Ellis.

Our dunk tank gave community members a chance to test their aim and dunk Assessor Joaquín Torres. Dr. Gina Fromer introduced our raffle for California Academy of Sciences tickets, and we welcomed the San Francisco Fire Department to the celebration.

Thank you to Civic Joy Fund, our community partners, volunteers, and performers for helping us put it all together. And to everyone who came out, thank you for spending your Sunday with us!
