Have an artistic kid in your life? Get their work to the masses through the Elections Office "I Voted" Sticker Design Contest!
The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder and Elections Office is inviting local students to show their creativity and civic pride by submitting original artwork for the county's 2026 "I Voted" sticker design contest. The contest is open to all SLO County students in grades 3-12, and it kicks off January 27 in recognition of Help America Vote Day, a nationwide effort focused on inspiring greater civic engagement and volunteerism. Entries will be accepted from January 27 through March 10, 2026.
The sticker design contest, which was first held locally in the fall of 2024, celebrates participation in democracy by giving young artists the opportunity to design a custom "I Voted," "Yo voté," or "Future Voter" sticker to be printed and distributed countywide during the 2026 election cycle. Previous winners hailed from Georgia Brown Elementary, Old Mission School, and San Luis Obispo High School.
