You’re homeschooling and it’s…a lot.
You feel like you’re running around like a chicken with its head cut off and no matter what you do you just can’t get ahead.

Other moms just have it all together and you dream of homeschooling like they do.

Here’s the thing. We weren’t designed for isolation. We were designed for connection and community.

The Hive Method is a homeschool pod framework—the perfect balance of homeschooling and a modern day village.

In a perfect world we would all live on multi-generational land with all the extra hands within walking distance…but it’s just not the reality most of us live in.

This was the solution we came up with for our families and it’s pretty amazing how it distributes the weight of everything a homeschool mom carries. Maybe not everything, but a lot of it!

Social media is a great tool for intros and a landing space for learning. But then it sucks you into the abyss and becomes a distraction from what actually matters.

We can never buy back our time. We only have one chance to utilize today in a way that our tomorrow selves will thank us for.

We don’t want to give parents something else to be distracted by. Quite the opposite. We designed this to be a tool to get us laser focused on our values, what REALLY matters, and to give parents real resources to maximize time with their kids.

We know learning a new app is annoying, promise. But this one is worth it, because our kids are worth it!

If you’re trying to create a learning environment based on the traditional school system, that’s your first mistake. You have so much more freedom than you can even imagine.

That entire design is programming to its core. We tend to think if we don’t have space for desks then we don’t have space for a homeschool pod.

We think that if we don’t know what the best curriculum is that we can’t create a pod.

We always resort back to recreating the school system.

The system has never been in favor of families—creating a new system with new objectives is the whole point.

We live in the USA. We have so much freedom…let’s stop giving it away, shall we?

Our Create a Pod Framework is for families. Not for school. That’s why it’s works. No two families are alike—we designed this roadmap to meet you where you’re at and to revolve around YOUR values.

What matters to you matters to us.

Meet Taylor, a first-time Pod Educator who is passionate and truly meant for this job.

Educators are a crucial piece of The Hive Method, and honoring their time, their values, and their creative freedom is equally as important as the families within the pod being in alignment.

Taylor fully embodies the characteristics of an Educator who effectively partners with families, so much so that they welcomed her back for a summer pod and their fall 2026 pod!

What a relief it is to these families that their kids have someone who deeply knows them and is growing with them year after year.

Taylor is a member of our Teach a Pod Community, where she has access to other Pod Educators—credentialed and not credentialed—who are experiencing pod life together.

For some parents the honest truth is that homeschooling is just not an option. For so many reasons.

But we all know that the public school system is not what we want for our kids. For even more reasons.

That’s where homeschool pods answered our prayers. They meet you in the middle, and to be honest, might be even better than homeschooling solo.

The joy that comes with linking arms with like-minded families is unmatched.

We have this sense of relief and confidence that this is the BEST option for us as busy working parents who still want to provide the homeschool experience for our families. And we get to design every little corner of it.

If we sit back and take a look at childhood as a whole—from a bird’s eye view—we see a system that has convinced us that all of our families need to fit into it.

We go to school to get into college…
Go to college so we can get a job…
Get a job to pay for the student loan debt we’re in…
Get married and have kids to put them through the same thing.

No part of this system is built for families…it’s not supposed to make us stronger. It creates distance in every stage and sets us up for failure—it makes it really difficult for us to TRULY know our kids.

And the cycle repeats.
Unless we break it.

That’s what we’re here to do.
